CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program. It is the primary fitness program for military, law enforcement, firefighters and first responders. CrossFit isn’t about treadmills and stationary weight machines – instead, you’ll find pull-up bars, barbells, kettlebells and wide open spaces for squatting, running, jumping, climbing, lifting and throwing. CrossFit workouts are comprised of exercises that mimic everyday movements and situations – moving your body the way it is built to operate. Each day features a different WOD (workout of the day), which will keep your body holistically fit and your mind stimulated. CrossFit programs are developed for scalability, allowing people of any fitness level and experience to participate. Everyone – adults, kids and teens alike – follows the same general program, simply modifying load and intensity based on individual ability. CrossFit is enjoyed by elite athletes, beginners, and everyone in between.
