What's the Best Workout for Weight Loss?
I get asked this all the time.
"What's the best workout for losing weight?"
Most people expect me to say running, HIIT, CrossFit, bootcamp, or some crazy fat-burning workout.
But honestly?
The best workout for weight loss is the one you'll still be doing six months from now.
I know that's not the sexy answer, but it's the truth.
I've seen people lose 30, 40, even 50 pounds working out just three times a week. Not because their workouts were magical. Not because they were crushing themselves every day.
They were consistent.
The problem is that most people think they need to work out 6 or 7 days a week to get results. So they go all in for a few weeks, get exhausted, life gets busy, and they fall off.
Then they assume the program didn't work.
In reality, the program asked for more than their life could realistically give.
A good weight loss workout should help you build muscle, burn calories, and leave you feeling better when you walk out than when you walked in.
That's why we're big fans of strength training. Building muscle helps your body burn more calories, gives you that toned look most people are after, and makes everyday life easier.
So if you're looking for the "best" workout for weight loss, stop searching for the perfect workout.
Find one you actually enjoy.
Find one that fits your schedule.
And find one you can stick with even when life gets hectic.
That's usually the one that wins.
